Product Information

Bench top measures 31 1/4 inches long by 14 3/4 inches wide by 2 3/8 inches thick.  Leg measures 14 1/2 inches tall by 11 7/8 inches wide by 5 1/4 inches thick.  Top is made of 1/16 ABS plastic and is designed in such a way that it doesn't need a frame to support the weight of the cement when pouring; however you will need to place on a flat level surface.  The leg is made of 1/8 ABS plastic, you may or may not need a frame when pouring.  I suggest that you build a simple wood frame to keep bottom and top ends from bulging.  When pouring the leg I suggest you pour 2 3/8 inches of cement tap gently on the bottom to release air, then place on level surface and pour concrete to within 1/4 inch from the top of mold.  Tap gently on the sides to release air.  The 1/4 inch from the top is to aid when unmolding.  2 leg molds will use 1 80 pound bag of ready mix concrete.  2 80 pound bags will be enough for 1 top & 2 legs.  I also suggest that you place rebar in the top and if setting in a perminent place use a cement adhesive to secure top to legs.  This bench combination was designed for looks and performance.  This combination was designed to compete with competitors at a similar price but out-perform.  I will be carrying the same molds in heavier gauge plastic which will make them more expensive.   FREE SHIPPING in the continental US only.  Please email for shipping cost to customers outside the continental US.

-Note:  Clean with dishwashing soap and water after each use to prolong the life of the mold.  Commercial grade release agent can also prolong the life of the mold and improve casting.
